The NAB Amendment Ordinance will apply from 1985, the accountability court

LAHORE: The Accountability Court has ordered the implementation of NAB Amendment Ordinance 2019 from 1985, which means that the accused named in the 40-year-old cases will also be able to benefit from it.

Accountability Court Judge Chaudhry Amjad Nazir wrote in his decision regarding the application of the NAB Amendment Ordinance, stating that unless there is a financial gain or an increase in assets beyond the powers, the offense will be considered.
