Joint Press Conference, Pakistan expresses interest in buying palm oil from Malaysia


Patraijaya: Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his special thanks to Mahathir Muhammad for raising a voice against injustice in occupied Kashmir and regretted not attending the Kuala Lumpur Summit and expressed interest in buying palm oil from Malaysia.

According to details, negotiations were held at the delegation level between Pakistan and Malaysia, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Vice President Mahathir Mohamed led their own initiatives.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and counterpart Mahathir Mohamed held a joint press conference. The Malaysian Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Malaysia have agreed to cooperate with tours and different sectors at all levels to promote relations, further promoting economic partnership.

Mahathir Mohammed said that economic relations between Pakistan and Malaysia are important, agreed to continue talks to promote trade cooperation while Prime Minister Imran Khan also discussed cooperation in other areas.

The Malaysian Prime Minister further said that the situation of Muslim Ummah including Palestine, Myanmar was discussed, counterterrorism and security issues will be further enhanced, with this cooperation the people of both countries will have opportunities for development.
