PM Imran Khan inaugurates tree plantation drive in Mianwali
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday inaugurated spring tree plantation drive by planting a sapling at Kundian, Mianwali, GNN reported.
The premier planted a sapling in Kundian to launch the10 Billion Tree Tsunami project, aimed at fighting climate change.
Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar and Punjab Minister for for Forestry Muhammad Sibtain Khan accompanied him for the occasion.
Later today, the Prime Minister will also attend annual convocation of National University of Modern Languages (NUML) as a chief guest.
The premier will also review the ongoing development projects in Mianwali.
All arrangements, including security, have been completed for the visit of the Prime Minister.
