Federal Cabinet to give approval for Rs15 billion relief package

Islamabad: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet will be held today in which the government will announce important decisions on controlling rising inflation in the country.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to bring a package of up to Rs 18 billion to provide relief to the suffering people of inflation.

The Prime Minister has directed that no one should be fed up with poor inflation, as he had pointed out important inflation decisions and announcements in the Cabinet meeting two days ago.

A meeting of the federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today in which a 14-point agenda will be considered.

According to sources, the cabinet meeting will review the political and economic situation of the country and briefing the cabinet on investment.

In addition, a summary of amendments to the Export and Import Policy Order 2016 will be presented, while the appointment of chairman of the Export Processing Zones Authority is also part of the cabinet agenda.
