Burhan Wani’s successor martyred in occupied Kashmir


Srinagar: Indian troops on Wednesday martyred key leader of Hizbul Mujahideen during a siege in pulwama district.
Riaz Naikoo has taken over the command of the freedom fight against occupied forces after he succeeded Burhan Wani, who was martyred in 2016.
The death Wani triggered massive protests in the occupied valley where people are struggling for the freedom since the partition.
The Indian forces also gunned down another member of the group, Adil Ahmad, during the action.
In the wake of the killing of Riyaz Naikoo and Aadil Ahmad, the authorities suspended mobile internet services in the entire occupied territory and imposed curfew-like restrictions, said Kashmir Media Services.
