Illegal contracts case: Court to indict Yousaf Raza Gillani today


Islamabad: Accountability court will indict ex-prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani in illegal advertisement contracts case today, GNN reported.
According to details, accountability court judge Azam Khan will hear the illegal advertisement contracts case against Yousaf Raza Gillani.

The court has fixed the date today to indict all the accused including Yousaf Raza Gillani while the court judge Azam Khan has directed the former premier to appear before the court at any cost.

It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gillani, former secretary of Information Technology Farooq Awan, ex-press information officer (PIO) Muhammad Saleem, former Universal Service Fund secretary Syed Hasan Sheikh and other individuals are nominated in the corruption reference.

The anti-corruption watchdog officials stated that these accused had misused their positions to illegally grant an advertising contract, inflicting a loss of Rs129.07 million to the national exchequer.
