The PML-N sets the age limit for sub-organization officials
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) general secretary Ahsan Iqbal has fixed the age limit for the office bearers of the party's sub-organizations, after which former senior Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's son-in-law (R) Safdar Leaders have lost their positions.
In the notification issued by Ahsan Iqbal, the age limit for the posts of the sub-organizations of the PML-N is 35 years. No person over the age of 35 will be eligible to become a member or member of the Youth Wing.
Former Prime Minister's son-in-law Captain (R) Safdar has lost the post of PML-N Youth Wing after the notification was issued. Captain Safdar is currently 56 years old.
According to a notification issued by Ahsan Iqbal, the Muslim Student Federation (MSF) will not have any member or member of the age more than 30 years. Must be a regular student to become an MSF member or official.
Former MPA Rana Arshad has also lost his post after the notification was issued by the party general secretary. Rana Arshad is currently 50 years old.
Rana Shahzad Khan, 45, president of the Muslim League Youth Wing Punjab, also lost the post after the notification was issued. Rana Sanaullah issued a notification a few days ago by the PML-N Punjab Rana Sanaullah.
