Sindh MPA Shahnaz Ansari gunned down allegedly over land dispute

NAWABSHAH: A Member of Provincial Assembly Sindh Shahnaz Ansari was shot dead on Saturday near the city's Khan Mari river, police said, claiming that she had been murdered as a result of a land dispute.

The absconding assailant, police say was the nephew of Ansari's decease brother-in-law, Zahid Khokar.

According to the police the PPP leader was attending Khokar's Chehlum, when the incident took place.

Ansari succumbed to her wounds at the People's medical hospital, the doctors say.
