National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) postpones decision to increase electricity prices

The Central Power Purchasing Agency had recommended a 99 paise per unit increase in the price of electricity under the November Fuel Prize Adjustment.

NEPRA was to hear the recommendation of the Central Power Purchasing Agency which has been postponed.

According to sources, the decision to postpone fuel adjustment was made due to the recent inflation.
