Crackdown against sugar price hikers,

LAHORE: Punjab police have arrested three businessmen in connection with a crackdown on major Chinese dealers, out of which a dealer has been jailed.

According to sources, police raided the Lahore area and arrested two Chinese dealers Shahid and Majid.

According to businessman Sheikh Asim, the policemen dressed in plain clothes and uniforms took his brother-in-law along with his family.

Meanwhile, Chinese trader Khurram was arrested by the police from Shahdara area.

According to sources, the officers also took records from the houses of detained dealers during the operation.
