The US Embassy in China confirmed on Saturday that an American citizen infected with the mysterious Corona virus had been killed.

According to the French news agency (AFP), a US embassy spokesman said that a 60-year-old American citizen diagnosed with the Corona virus died at a hospital in Wuhan on February 6. Our heartfelt sympathies are with that person's family.

According to official data, the death toll from the Corona virus in China has risen to about 722 while the number of people infected with the Corona virus has exceeded 34,000.
